Lyn comes with 15 years of research experience across rural and urban India, as well as international markets. She has led and managed research for major Indian and Global clients as well as start-ups and social entrepreneurs, across a diverse range of projects – consumer, shopper and user/ design research.

Lyn began her qualitative research career in 2005 with Nielsen India and then went on to join the Envirosell Division (shopper research cell) at Technopak Advisors. She then worked with TNS India, before switching to working as a consultant. Prior to qualitative research, Lyn has worked on secondary research as a business analyst with SB&E Inc. and Tata Motors.

In her first job as a management trainee with Tata Motors, Lyn was assigned a quantitative project that aimed to assess the state of the Indian commercial vehicle market. However, her innate enthusiasm for understanding human motivation and desire, led her to observe and explore nuances that were way beyond the structure and scope of quantitative findings. This was the spark that led to a career in qualitative research. Over time this enthusiasm has been balanced with a grounded knowledge in psychology and marketing, as well as honed with experience.

When not exploring consumer behaviour, Lyn enjoys exploring poetry and photography.‘Poetry in the Park – Bangalore’ is a monthly gathering that she has initiated and hosted for poetry enthusiasts in the city for over four years. The platform serves as an informal and inclusive space to nurture a love for poetry.

Lyn holds an MA in Psychology from Mumbai University and an MBA from Gonzaga University  (Washington). Besides having lived and travelled through several cities in India, she has also lived in the US and the Middle East
